Since my local health food store finally got a shipment of young coconuts that weren’t spoiled, I thought it deserved it's own recipe. I love smoothies and I’m always looking for new flavors. I think young coconut water tastes heavenly so I knew I had to make a smoothie with it.

1 cup young coconut water
1 large banana (frozen)
Handful of fresh berries
Recipe Directions
1. Put young coconut water, banana, and berries in a blender or food processor for about 1 minute.

When I get a high-speed blender I will be adding greens. Yum!

This is awesome! Coconut water is excellent for hydration. I have also tried it without the berries but with a couple of handfuls of spinach and 2 celery stalks (to get my veggies) and some stevia (so it doesn't taste TOO green). Love it! Thank you Allison!
