This is an adaptation on Frederic Patenaude's recipe. His is called fruit soup. And wow, his also has pineapple. You can really make this with whatever fruit you have. Hi Ambikalee- I just made something almost exactly like this- yesterday! I used dried apricots, bing cherries, a chopped orange and a few raisins (I squeezed a little lemon juice in there to preserve it a little). You can put it over nut cheese and make a chutney type thing to eat with crackers or carrots. I put a little cinnamon in mine. Cheers!

I tried creating a recipe like this! Except I had been experimenting with a blended watermelon broth. This looks great.
