Like others, this list varies significantly over time. Up until recently avocado would have been on top. And some nuts (nut just nutmylk) would be on the list. Nectarines & watermelon are what hits the spot for me right now, but that will fade shortly after their season is over.

pixx, no medjool dates?? they are my favorite!! probably because i've only tried medjool dates haha
joannabanana~ The one's I prefer sort of melt in your mouth, like fine caramels. Ooooooohhh mmmmmmm. :~)
I think medjools are a bit fibrous, less sweet & candy like. They are good for making crusts, and such, but I really do not choose those for snacking "as is". You really should try some of the others! Some are even *more* fibrous, and less sweet than the medjools! (Such as zahidi.) Lots of variety for all kinds of tastes.
pixx, do you buy them at a store or online? i've been to trader joes and whole foods and they only have medjool. i think medjool are pretty sweet, but i wouldn't mind a caramel-tasting kind. that sounds amazing.
online. I've bought them from Jaffe Bros (some of their stuff was not so great- not as fresh as I would have hoped.) and rawbakery.com (
I have just checked out that site pixx and am now drooling! Haha!
I too have only tried medjool and would love to try some other varieties.
How fun would it be to have a date-tasting party!! That site has so many dates (and apples for that matter). I didn't know there were that many varieties.
15 lbs is a little much to start with when getting dates.
The daisins and bahri are so small and adorable, but the peanut butter dates are callin my name!!
The Barhi are my all time fav-- so far! And YESSSS, the Peanut Butter have been calling ME, too!! :~)
