Yeah. No good. I think they have an entry for wheat grass juice (jamba juice?), but nothing for oat grass juice. I reckon folks would say that they are comparable in nutrient content, but I’m not so sure about that myself. The jamba juice entry for wheat grass juice doesn’t look nearly as good as I thought it would.
Why does it matter???? If you need more iron, TAKE THEM BOTH.
Ideally the darker the green, the more nutrients.
The oat grass I grow, so it’s free. But the collards I buy. Plus, there is a significant difference in taste. Brother, the Lord’s love and peace to you. But have you ever tasted oat grass juice?
Oh, dear. It’s horrid! I have tried to deny this reality, but it WON’T be denied. Yick! It’s so sad. You can mix a tiny bit of oat grass juice with 16 ounces of any other kind of juice, and it is still nasty. I know this because I always have to take it that way, or it will trip my gag reflex, and leave the most awful taste in my mouth. And you know something? Not even gurgling with gasoline will get that taste gone. Collard green juice is much easier on the palate.
That said, if it is higher in iron than the collard juice, I would continue to take it. The collards don’t cost a whole lot, but things are really tight right now, and I still have 30 lbs of oat seed left…
