Hmm that is a good question. i haven’t seen any where I live, but I saw you live in NYC you might be able to find some. Have you been to Bonobo’s?
One of the things that I like best about being raw is the fresh dressings I make myself. I like it simple sometimes, lemon juice, water, and tahini. Or just oil and vinegar. Play around and have fun with it.
raw dressings are so easy to make and always taste better than cooked ones, there are hundreds on this website!
One of my favourites is banana, sunflower seeds, lemon juice, oil, garlic and salt, creamy garlic dressing, mmmmm
i drench arugula in lemon juice mixed with olive oil, salt and pepper. nothing better! i also second bitts suggestion about using tahini to make creamy dressings. i recently had a great raw dressing at a restaurant that was sunflower seeds, grapefruit juice, garlic, olive oil and some water. i have the recipe, i should post it.
Hi there – my favorite dressings are olive oil and lemon mixed, or olive oil and lime mixed (goes great on avocado!).
This is my creation and it’s fantastic – Sesame Goddess Dressing
a really great creamy dressing is just lime juice, garlic, salt, dash of oil and avocado. Tangy and flavorful!
Here’s another idea: I make a guacamole type dressing by putting half an avocado, some garlic, olive oil, lime juice, salt and cilantro in the food processor. Turns out pretty good. I also have done what bitt does with tahini paste and lime juice. You could make almost any kind of dressing using any kind of nuts as the fat part and then adding an acid such as lime/lemon juice, vinegar, etc.
