I read that distilled water shouldn’t be in contact with metal, but I don’t know if stainless steal is an exception or not.
I got the Love model a month ago and I think it’s a good investment. All of it’s parts are steel, it’s easy to clean up and it’s not too expensive (109 bucks)
Is there a difference in water filters and water distillers?
i’m just guessing, so please correct me, but doesn’t distilling “filter” through heat, and filtration “filter” through minerals?
i think of distilling as boiling water.
At home I have a PUR water filter pitcher and at work I use a Brita. But this brings me to a question that has recently been discussed on another post (Vitamix being toxic/toxis plastics)... is it bad to contain filtered water in plastic containers?
thanks for your responses. see distilling on wikipedia to see what it is. the love model looks the same as the other one. im going to call them and find out.
