I found Honeycrisp apples yesterday. I was excited because these are one of my favorite kinds of apples. Winesap are another favorite.

Ingredients
2 handfuls of baby greens
1 large banana
1 large Honeycrisp apple
1 tablespoon flax seeds
1 cup water
1 cup ice
Recipe Directions
1. Grind flax seeds into powder.
2. Add water, ice, flax seeds, greens, banana, and apple into blender. Blend until smooth. Consume immediately.

I've only had Honeycrisp apples once, but I LOVED them! Best apples I've ever tasted.

I just got some that said from Virginia but I'm not sure about the variety. They were to die for!

I tried my first honeycrips apples this week. (I'm from here in VA.) We hadn't heard about them... until we met somene who knew someone who grew them. (sorry, can't remember "someone"'s names). He said they were the best apples. I really enjoyed them, the are one of my favorite apples now.
