3-4Great for transitioning kids or to satisfy a sweet tooth. The maple syrup really gives it that ‘french toast’ flavor, but feel free to substitute sweetener of choice, or none at all.

Makes about 12 pastriesI wanted to make some pastries and had some of Alissa Cohen’s cheese crepe filling left over…so I created a pastry around the filling.

EZ Apple-Cinnamon Pancake Bears

Makes about 5 pancakesI got the idea for these adorable bear-pancakes when watching “27 dresses” and knew my kids would love them…and they do!!! I make them late morning and serve them for dinner that night.

For those looking to substitute the use of agave and/or maple syrup.
I was not aware of how much we are effecting the bat population by
our
use of agave, until recently. It is the main food source for nectar bats.
