Zucchini & Parsley Hummus
This recipe was inspired by kandace’s hummus, also posted at goneraw. The parsley adds a lot of flavor.
hugging lettuce wraps
so named because when you de-rib the bottom of the lettuce it creates two arms that are then folded over each other, as in a big hug. these are REALLY satisfying and simple! serve with arugula pesto, red vinegar, and pink-flecked pilaf.
Bittersweet Dandelion Salad
A simple blend of peach and celery (thanks to Dr. Doug Graham) makes a sweet/tart dressing for this salad with sliced peaches, tomatoes and celery with dandelion greens. It was very pretty (but consumed too quickly for a photo … next time I will add one). Very minimalist but tasty.
Pear Cranberry Relish
Holiday-ish, but I like it anytime I can get my hot little hands on cranberries.
Tabbouleh as Ever
“we” hold the record for the biggest tabbouleh (تبولة) ever right here in palestine! and look how green it is! not all traditional civilized foods are from hell… and you know what? this recipe is not only traditionally high in raw ingredients, it is also very green, and… it is eaten with whole fresh romaine leaves!
