Peary Versatile Oatmeal
This is a GREAT transitional recipe! I always loved oatmeal, especially Scottish style oats…soaked oat groats are even better! And cheaper…$1.89 a pound in bulk at Whole Foods. This recipe is so quick and easy to make if you’ve got the oats soaked & sprouted already. It’s incredibly versatile too…switch up your fruit, apples would be great, mangoes for some tropical love! Have fun with your spices, ginger would be great with mango I bet! Really all you need are the soaked oat groats, and you can be creative from there.
All measurements are approximate as I just threw this together. It’s quite sweet as I made it, so feel free to omit the sweeter ingredients if you like…I was raised in an Italian cooking culture, so everything is really done to taste.
Sorry bout the random pic…my cam isn’t working.

Spinach and Sundried Tomato Hemp Pesto
This is my absolute favourite pesto! It is shown in the picture with zucchini noodles, but it’s also great in stuffed mushrooms or red peppers.

Simple Strawberry Sorbet
This is a very tasty, refreshing desert and it’s so easy. You can really substitute any fruit you like, I just had strawberries on hand and they seemed to work very well.
