one of my favorite salads! The FRESH basil (gotta be fresh), sundried tomatoes, garlic, and pine nuts make this salad rock! and oh how I love avocado! (photo shown without avocado)
Or you could multiply the ingredients and make it a meal…but either way, it’s delicious. I had leftover stuff from making raw pizza, and this is a good way to put it to use!
This salad tastes absolutely divine, actually it tastes like pizza. Feel free to vary the ingredients/amounts/dressing to accommodate your palette. To make dried tomato bits, simply slice thinly your favorite tomatoes and dry them for 24 hours on mesh sheets. Then, break them into tiny bits the size of bacon bits. You’ll love how the tomato bits soak up the dressing as they taste just like bacon! It is unbelievable. And adding a few dried onions to the mix is very nice too. Feel free to use regular sea salt instead of Himalayan. You could also try adding some raw nut or seed cheese to the salad and it probably would be amazing.
Easy dehydrated tomatoes recipe makes tomatoes to be used as sun-dried tomatoes. Pictured are sundried romas.
These mushrooms I found last week at the growers market were literally as big as dinner plates. I marinated them all day and made a beautiful sauce and some fresh basil olive and red capsicum topping with a sprinkle of nutritional yeast.Mushrooms make fantastic pizza bases but GIGANTIC ONES? mmMMM!
