I saw a recipe similiar so I decided to post my version. I have been make for a long time its like a dessert to me and its very satisfying If you like any of these ingredients you will love it.
Takes a few days to get the spelt berries ready, but it's soooo worth it! This is a nut-free version of banana bread, using sprouted grain berries as the base! YAY! You could also add some walnuts or pecans and some raisins, if you wanted to! Can't remember what real banana bread tastes like exactly, but this works great for me! The first time I made this, I didn't use the vanilla, but I think i will next time just to give it some more depth.
I found this recipe on a forum somewhere while looking for a nut-free recipe for raw cheesecake. It could easily be made nut-free, all you have to do is either leave the crust out, or make your own nut-free crust! The filling has NO nuts!!!
Just few of my favorite things: bananas, almond butter, coconut, and honey.
Cranberry season! This is also good with celery and kale as the greens. You can also use an orange instead of the apple. cinnamon is nice and warming in here for the winter months.
Sorry, for some reason the picture is not posting. But it looks like a green smoothie. heh.
