Triple C's (Coconut-Chocolate-Cherimoya)
I've been having major raw choclate cravings today. I stopped using condiments of all kinds, including cacao, awhile ago but tonight I needed a little induldge if you know what I'm saying. This one is simple. It's a mixture of bitter, tart and sweet. I didn't use any added sweeteners as the cherimoya needs to act as it's own natural sweet goodness in this drink. It's very nice to be able to appreciate natural flavors without having to add stuff to jazz things up. Coconut water, caco, cherimoya. Hits the spot.
So Ugly Yet So Good "Green" Smoothie
Wow this smoothie is fugly but so yummy! This is a great kid pleaser because you really can't taste the greens! I know you've heard that line before but REALLY! I call it Cup O' Mud and they eat it all up. It's my new favorite!

Mexican Hot Chocolate
Now that it is getting colder here, my regular icy smoothies aren’t as appealing. So, I have switched to hot chocolate. I love this mixture, it is filling and tastes delicious. I am going to multiply the quantities of the dry ingredients and make a hot chocolate mix and all I will need to add each morning to the blender will be the powder, seeds, sweetner and water. I may even soak, dry and grind the seeds and add them to the powder. If I knew more raw foodists, I would give the powder away in jars for the holidays! I guess I’ll just keep all of mine!!!
