Hungarian ratatouille is made of onion, bell pepper and tomato (and the no-vegan version with bacon and sausage) and it is called "lecsó" (letchaw).
Hungarian raw lecsó is my favourite dish, its easy to make and delicious.
Sometimes I prefer simple dishes to the more complicated ones, as there are more weekdays than holidays. In the morning, before going to work, I chop up everything, take them with me and voila, this is my lunch with a light cracker. Very often, nowadays. Sometimes I don't even have time to prepare it. If that's the case, I buy the ingredients on my way to work and while my colleagues heat up their lunches, I quickly chop up everything needed. They keep telling me how wonderful the scent is.
This simple Paté is wonderful on salads, lettuce wraps or as a vegetable dip. Of course it is perfect for Tacos as well! I created it after missing Mexican food for much too long... Check out RachelRaw.
I grew up on meats and the one that I miss most, only flavor-wise, is bacon. I enjoy creating recipes that taste as close to my old unhealthy loves as much as possible. After researching this recipe and making my own adjustments and additions, I have been able to bring that salty crunch back into my life. My new obsession is the raw BLT, and I do intend to share that recipe with you all soon too, so stay tuned.
TOOLS NEEDED:
Juicer, Dehydrator, Mandoline Slicer

These cookies are so yummy! I love them so much! So, last night I was craving Whole Foods' "everything cookies" but of course they don't come raw. SO I decided to experiment in the kitchen and came up with these delicious midnight snacks. This recipe doesn't make enough of them though so you'll have to double it or add more or less of whatever to your tastes! enjoy<33333
This is based on/inspired by roshi' Kung Wow Veggies. I am always in the mood for chinese and ethnic flavors. It reminds me of lo mein I used to get at a chinese place in Boston. This took about 5 mintues or less and it's so yummy. Thanks Roshi! And thanks me!
