I didn’t realize you could eat cantaloupe seeds. do you dehydrate them first?

Patty708, you don’t eat the seeds….you blend the seeds with 3c H2O, then strain, keeping the resulting juice and discarding the seed pulp. Then you blend the cantaloupe seed milk with the flesh, agave and cinnamon.

Yea, you can eat the seeds though.. It’s hard to digest the shell, but there is meat in the seed that is really yummy and has some major nutrients! Oh, I wanted to say it may be better with raw vanilla bean instead of cinammon.

I saw this in the blind guru’s videos and thought it sounded intriguing. It was quick to make and tastes good—the taste though is all about how good your cantaloupe is. If you’ve got a dud (i.e., flavorless) then it won’t be as good. It’s also a nice mono meal. :)
