Strawberry Maca Mudshake
Strawberry season! Woo hoo! Here’s a thick, powerful energy shake to celebrate. It’s macalicious mud.
Use the juiciest, sweetest strawberries you can get. They should be nice and cold when they go in the blender. And just toss them in, hull and all. Why not?
About the kombucha: I make kombucha at home and I crave the tartness. Feel free to just use water and squeeze in maybe half a lemon or a lime.
1 pint fresh strawberries, refrigerated
½ cup kombucha or water
¼ cup soaked goji
berries
1 small banana
2 large leaves of kale, chopped
.333 cup fresh curly parsley, chopped
2 tablespoon maca
powder
½ vanilla bean
1 tablespoon sweetener of choice (honey, agave, etc), optional
1 pinch good salt
Blend it all up at LUDICROUS SPEED in the following order:
- liquid ingredients and vanilla bean (or a dash of vanilla extract)
- strawberries and goji berries (berries and soak water both)
- banana
- kale and parsley
- maca and salt
- sweetener (add to taste)

Next time I will use only half the Gojis, as the taste was a bit too intensive for me.
