Sticky Cereal Slices
A delicious cereal bar that tastes like the traditional bars that everyone brings to your ordinary SAD potluck. So deluctable and scrummy… it makes you feel almost guilty.
2/3 cup. raw peanut butter (or do what I did, using organic peanut butter, which is just ground up peanuts
3/4 cup. liquid honey (or agave if
vegan)
3 cup. raw cereal or granola (the simpler the better, something like "Buckwheatie Crispies"
1/2 cup. shredded, unsweetened coconut
1/2 cup. dried cranberries,
unsweetened
1/4 cup. raisins
Combine the peanut butter and the honey, mixing well. And then mix the rest of the ingredients into it.
Toss together and then place in a lightly oiled (coconut oil or olive oil) 8” square pan. Freeze until firm and then slice. Makes 16 squares roughly.
After I placed the squares in the pan I added a Carob Syrup (just carob and maple syrup mixed) over top. Totally scrummy!

LivingLotus~ Yes, please do let me know if they turn out. Sounds good. Nope...never read the Essene Gospel of Peace. I live by the God's Word, the Bible, that's so awesome you love the Lord too!

These look soooo goood. I will use cashew butter and dried cherries...and sprouted Quinua for the cereal base. I'll let you know how they turn out. Have you read The Essene Gospel of Peace? I love that you love the Lord! I do too! :)

I don't have a Whole Foods where I live, but I'm sure that's really possible. I made my own raw cereal, but you can just soak buckwheat, process it, and then dehydrate it (adding extras if you want) and then you have "Buckwheatie Crispies". :)

OMG These look amazing! Where do you find raw cereal? Do you think Whole Foods might have some (I'll be going past one tomorrow)?
