Servings:
one crustThis crust works for most pies where you want a more traditional crust that is not sweet.
Ingredients:
¾ cup macadamia nuts
¾ cup almonds
1 tablespoon raw agave
nectar
¾ teaspoon sea salt
Preparation:
Put all ingredients in food processor and blend well. Press into pie plate, fill with your favorite ice cream/pudding/pie filling, and freeze (or just refrigerate if you used a stiff enough filling). Enjoy!

1.
Brazil nuts will give it the same buttery texture/taste; I usually use macadamias because the flavor is milder, but I have recently started using Brazil nuts for some of the things I would normally use macadamias for. Let me know how you like it! I have also done the crust with 1/2 cup each of almonds, cashews & macadamias (substitute Brazil nuts).

I do not have macadamias, are there other nuts or seeds I can use??
