My So-Called Ketchup

Servings:
1 cupThis is a thick yummy ketchup. It passed the kid test on the world’s biggest ketchup fan, my son, Gus. His motto is “It ain’t food til it’s covered in ketchup.”
I made this to go on top of the “garshbrowns” recipe found here. This is my new favorite breakfast!
Ingredients:
1 sm-med ripe tomato
1 cup sundried tomatoes-measure BEFORE soaking, soaked
1 teaspoon onion
powder
stevia
3 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
1 teaspoon dry mustard
salt to taste
Preparation:
Soak the tomatoes. I usu. do this overnight. Blend sun tomatoes in FP. Add in whole tomato. Blend. Add other ingredients and blend well.

I hate ketchup with a passion, but I must say this one is pretty good ..I left the mustard out because I had the worst experience with trying to make a honey mustard dressing and must I say it was horrible.

My daughter is the SAME! She would take ketchup on pasta over marinara on pasta, cause it's better! Mac n cheese with ketchup is her favorite. We'll try it, thanks!

I would think so, but I wouldn't put much. It doesn't taste onion-y, ya know. I just enhances the other flavors.

Would this work with fresh onion? I don't tolerate the powder well. Thanks for the recipe :)
