It’s sweet and spicy at the same time, and it works well on both veggies and fruit. It’s easy to make and also tastes great. Try it as a dip for a snack or as a sauce for a wrap.
2 tablespoon raw almond butter
½ tablespoon agave nectar
½ small lime, juiced
1 pinch sea salt
½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
Mix all ingredients, adjusting measurements to suit your personal tastes. No special equipment is necessary. Enjoy it as a dip for veggies or fruit. I prefer it on carrots, sugar snap peas and apples.
The sauce also tastes great on a collard green wrap filled with greens, avocado slices, shredded carrot, sliced portabello mushrooms and broccoli sprouts.
Recipe can be made in much larger quantities to feed a crowd.
This is soooo good! I used honey instead of agave nectar and I did not have a lime so I used a lemon....I love this...(probably too much!)
This is excellent. I logged in just to rate it. I suspect it's even better with peanut butter. Lils, do you have a good raw recipe for peanut butter?
Ahh this is amazing. However, I use raw peanuts to make my own butter and then add in the rest... I eat it with everything.
I just had this on salad as a dressing. It was pretty good but I still prefer it as a dip. Thanks so much for this recipe!
I'm eating this right now with cucs! I agree with Kandace, it is very addictive. Great recipe!
I've been snacking on this all week with celery. Quite addictive and incredibly easy to make - thanks!
