Delectable Banana Bread

This is a very simple recipe. Really tasty banana bread, a very nice treat. It was kind of an experiment (I was looking for ways to get rid of my excess almond meal) and it turned out perfectly!
You may choose to add a 1/4 cup of cacao nibs or coconut, I didn’t try to but I thought it might be a good addition. I spread some almond butter on top as an icing, which made the dessert taste just right.
Unfortunately I don’t own a dehydrator so I cheat a little by having the oven on very low heat with the door open. It came out nicely after a few hours.

Ingredients:

4 Bananas
½ cup Flax Seeds
½ cup Almond Meal (left over from making milk)
½ cup Raw Unpasturized Honey or Raw Agave Nectar
¼ cup Almond Milk, to thin out the mixture a little as it may be too solid
2 tablespoon Sesame Seeds
1 teaspoon Cinnamon
½ teaspoon Nutmeg

Preparation:

Some people prefer to grind their flax seeds, but I don’t.
Throw all ingredients in a blender until smooth.
Dehydrate until solid but still a little soft (sorry I don’t know how long!)
Throw on some almond butter or agave nectar as icing if you wish.
Enjoy!

I don't have a dehydrator and didn't feel like dehydrating it in my oven, so, instead I blended (partly) it until my blender burned out (it was bound to happen) and am now enjoying it in this really tasty pudding like consistency. I added some raisins and cashews to make it more creamy. Delicious! Thanks!

This sounds good! I'm restricting my nut/seed/oil/salt intake for the next few days, but next weekend, this will be in the dehydrator! I have Almond Flour (raw), so i'll try that out instead of the almond meal. If i get some vanilla beans before hand, i think i'll add those in too - if i remember correctly, the sad version of banana bread has vanilla in it... This just sounds so good :) And, i may make this into little loaves and add cacao nibs or a little carob powder to some :) Thanks so much!!! I think this would be great with some walnut creme frosting on top too!
