Servings:
1This is a quick soup that takes only a few ingredients, but it is quite tasty. I haven't uploaded a picture yet because I took it with my phone! So, just imagine a spring green silky soup.
Ingredients:
1/2 c. water
6-8 asparagus spears, tough bottom stems removed
juice from 1/2 lime
3 T. cashews
pinch salt
freshly ground pepper
Preparation:
Blend all ingredients in the blender until perfectly smooth. I used my regular Oster. Serve with freshly ground pepper. Yum!

I am sure that sunflower seeds woud be great, I make other creamy soups using them. I used cashews because I wanted a milder flavor. Tonight I made one using sugar snap peas and sunflowers and it was great. Let me know if you like it.

Sounds good but I can't do the nuts(more than a few day kill me GI wise still), any other ideas for what would make it creamy? Would sunflower seeds work?
