Servings:
Well, it served just ME! But it should have served 4. :o)Loved ice cream? Then make this!! Beware, put the spoon down before the blender is empty….
Ingredients:
3 Bananas, frozen for 2 hours
2 tablespoon raw cacao bean, ground finely in coffee grinder
2 tablespoon raw honey or agave or 2
dates
¼ cup raw almond milk
Preparation:
Put the ingredients in a blender and blend away! Frozen bananas are insanely similar to the texture of ice cream.
Variations: leave out the chocolate and throw in some pineapple and coconut for a tropical cream. Or, leave in the chocolate, throw in some coconut. Or, add mint extract to the original recipe for a mint chocolate ice cream. You can also throw in some whole cacao beans at the end and just blend them enough to make cacao chips. Any way you make it, it will be delicious!

I should add, I only used 1 tsp of agave and ground about 8 hazel nuts in it which made a nice crunchy texture...this will certainly become a staple desert!

I just made this and have to laugh b/c I only saw after eating it that the serving is for four! I ate the whole thing too... it really is amazing!

This is awesome! Satisfied my ice cream cravings. I have made it several times and have a hard time getting it to the freezer to have some later! I have made it without the cacao, instead using half a vanilla bean and some coconut. Mmmmmmm

WOW! Just made this. It was SOOOOOOO GOOD! I call it "Gone in a minute chocolate ice cream" I used coconut cream made from blending young coconut water and meat for the nut milk. Thanks so much for posting this!

I think I'll use carob instead of cacao beans, but this sounds really good!!

I served this for a birthday party last night and my unraw guests had no clue it wasn't ice cream!

This is insanely good. It sure helps my ice cream cravings! I will try it with the mint next time, because mint choc chip was my favorite ice cream.
