This tastes fabulous! Even my non raw mom said she liked it better than regular tuna salad! You can even make sushi rolls with it. I got the recipe from my friend Rashimba who makes it at the Food Co-Op were she works. It can be a totally raw recipe if you make your own raw mayo, but I love the Veganaise.
carrot pulp from juiced carrots
a few tablespoons of carrot juice to add back in, but don't make it too wet (the carrot juice tastes great with the mayo)!
dill weed (fresh or dried)
red onion (makes a huge difference in taste compared to using other onions)
red bell pepper
Veganaise (I like the one with organic grapeseed oil) OR make your own raw mayo
a squeeze of lemon juice
I don't measure anything. I just go by sight and taste. You can't mess this one up. Just keep adding ingredients until it tastes the way you want it to. I add quite a bit of dulse and dill to mine. The dulse and lemon juice are what make it taste like tuna salad (the kind with the relish added)!
