Cardamom Spice Raw Donut Holes
These raw cookie balls (or donut holes) are so quick & easy. Arrange on a platter with fruit for parties and other gatherings. Even raw skeptics will love this simple dessert. Using freshly ground cardamom really does make a big difference! If you don't have a spice grinder, you can do it the ol' fashioned way with a motar & pestle. I hope you enjoy this recipe. 1 cup raw almonds, ground into a fine powder
1 cup dates, soaked & drained
1 tablespoon cardamom, freshly
ground
Raw sweetener (agave, honey, stevia, etc ... if desired)
Dried, shredded coconut (optional)
Grind the almonds in a food processor. Add the cardamom and raw sweetener (if using). Pulse to combine. With the processor running, slowly start to add the dates. Keeping adding the dates until the mixture begins to form a ball. Roll into balls. I rolled some in coconut for a variety of flavours (& it looks pretty too!).

1. Okay. I made these last
Okay. I made these last night. I didn't have Cardamon (go figure) so I made a mix of high quality cinnamon, fresh ground cloves & nutmeg. I really like them! The family didn't but they're not much for cinnamon (spices) but I definitely am! Thanks for the recipe.
