Camu CaMuSM Smoothie
Ok, this is a really basic smoothie but I invented it more to help with my little MSM regime. I normally take alot more MSM than the recipe calls for but the 1/2
teaspoon is a “regular” amount for most people (1/2 tea of MSM equals 2000 mg).
The Camu Camu powder is to add the needed Vitamin C that helps the MSM work! Camu Camu is a Vitamin C superfood – has more than oranges! It is also known to help with depression and put you in a good mood. So, this is an ultimate combo to get the most out of your MSM regime if you are taking it!
It is recommended that you take at least 1/2 (one half) as much vitamin C as MSM. For example, if you are taking 2000mg of MSM you should take a minimum of 1000 mg of vitamin C. (1/4 tea in this recipe equals 1000 mg)
Of course you can add other things to this smoothie if you want- or you can increase the MSM/Camu ratio. The Camu doesn’t have much taste in this small amoutn in this smoothie. Otherwise, it tastes sort of tangy sourish. :) You can increase it if you want to taste it.
½ teaspoon MSM
¼ teaspoon Camu Camu Berry Powder
1 Young coconut (water and
meat)
1 banana
ice (as much as you like)
Blend everything but the MSM.
MSM is easily destroyed so I recommend to put it in last and do a quickie “pulse” to blend it in. Or hand mix it in.
You will not be able to taste the MSM bitterness in this smoothie.

Sure whatever you want. I was posting this mainly to have the measurements and ratios for the optimal MSM/Vitamin C combo for your smoothie.

Oooh! This is perfect! Would it also work if I replaced the coconut water/meat with nut milk?
