Last May I visited Chicago and had the pleasurable experience of dinning at the Chicago Diner. Among many delicious food items (most noteworthy: RAW Blueberry Lemon Cheesecake!) I drank a tantalizing thirst quenching Blueberry Basil Limeade. I have been wanting to re-create this ever since and finally a few days ago I did.

4 large basil leaves
1/4th of a limes juice
1/2 teaspoon stevia
2 cups water (or less to your desired consistency)

Preparation:

Simply blend. Serve right away or chilled.

I was hoping to get a more specific measurement on the blueberries- I get the rather large size package! I did try it, and I just used about 1 cup of blueberries, and a little agave for the sweetener. Fantastic! Love the flavor combo!

Ohh I love blueberry-basil combos! I put blueberries, banana, basil, kale in a smoothie about 3 times a week lately. I think I'll have to give this mix a try too, it sounds so refreshing! Thanks
