Like the stuff in the sushi bar. That stuff comes from a giant vat shipped from Asia, and has cooked oils and sugar, so your will be much fresher and healthier!
1 bag Mixed fresh seaweed, usually preserved in salt
1 tablespoon viirgin sesame oil
2 tablespoon nama shoyu or bragg's aminos
2 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
1 teaspoon grated ginger
1 teaspoon crushed garlic
½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
1 teaspoon honey, agave or maple syrup
1 tablespoon sesame
seeds
I’ve never actually measured how much of each I put in the salad; this is my guess. Feel free to adjust if you want it saltier/hotter/sweeter, etc.
First soak the seaweed and rinse very well. While the seaweed soaks, mix the other ingredients in your serving bowl with a whisk. Dry seaweed a little with a towel (not absolutely necessary but I think it helps) and throw in the bowl.
Toss. Serve with nori rolls!
