UK members - advice on blenders
I live in the UK and at the moment I cannot afford a Vitamix, but I am looking at spending £150ish on a blender as the one I am borrowing should go back soon!
Any advice tips on a blender that is good, I have only ever had cheap ones and I would love my smoothies to be smooth!
Hi, I'm in the UK (south Wales) and I've just posted here about my new Bamix which is a Swiss thing but you can buy it on eBay and other UK kitchen websites. I really like it actually. It cost about £100 for the Titan which has a little more power than the normal run-of-the-mill Bamix. Also I got the Slicesy food processor attachment which cost another £50 on top but is good for processing tough veg.
I think it's great - does my green smoothies really well - and it's got a 10 year guarantee so even with heavy use you don't have to worry about breaking it!
Thanks for that - I was starting to think there wasn't anyone else in the UK on here! I've been searching today so I will have a look at that, what do you think of this one - Kenwood kMix BLX50 Blender (White). It seems a reasonable price with a high wattage?
