Subscribing to threads

I’d love to subscribe to threads at this website having the updates delivered by email. I can’t find any function like that. I have found an option for following threads, but it’s not as convenient as subscribing.
Have I missed it? Or is this option yet to be added?

Since you are reading this thread, look just above your first post. There is an orangish box. Click that. :) You can also subscribe on the front page of the Recipes and Forums tabs for the respective updates. Is that what you are looking for?
