So, many cookbooks on raw food, can anyone tell me what is good?
I am toldly lost on what to get or who is the best. They are so expensive, I really don't want to get one that is not good. I love to cook and want different food.
I love Ani Phyo's Raw Food Kitchen
also, Rose Lee Calabro's Living in the Raw Gourmet. Love it.

I don't think you can go too wrong. I have Alyssa Cohen's book, which is basically the Bible of raw food - she has everything in there, stuff like pizza and crepes, lol. Its expensive, but a nice big book with a looot of recipes and a good intro on her own life. There's also some good pictures in there, but only for a handful of recipes. You might want a book with more pictures, but it might have fewer recipes. Also, it might good to be pictureless - otherwise you would want to make everything all at once!
Others are probably good too, but I doubt if you would be dissapointed with hers.
I second Ani Phyo's books - all her recipes are super easy and yummy to boot. Plus she includes tid-bits on green living and being more eco friendly.
i read through ani phyo's raw kitchen today because of this post! haha everything i've tried out of there is delicious, but the majority is high fat. i suppose it depends what kind of diet you want to eat. it was the first book that got me into raw though and it made my transition very smooth.
i also have the 80/10/10 book and i refer back to it quite a lot. there are good recipes in there for very simple meals, but most of my eating is simple these days so i like it.
Eat Smart, Eat Raw by Kate Wood has some very simple easy-to-do dishes. Great for transitioning.
Yeah, I second Ani's Raw Kichen and Kate Wood's Eat Smart. Both very good books.
Also really like Jennifer Cornbleet's Raw Food Made Easy. This was great for me when I started as it says how long things will keep - so useful.
tonya zavasta's Quantum Eating changed my life. her recipes aren't very complicated or fancy, but they're truly raw, and very healthful. it's also informative on the raw food lifestyle, and educates women on how to maintain youthful vibrance well into old age. i also like dining in the raw by rita romano, and raw food life force energy by natalie rose is a great transition book. the complete book of raw food also has a huge collection of raw food recipes by the stars of raw food cullinary artistry.
