I am a navy brat, so have lived on the coast, pretty much, all my life.

A divorce sent my daughter and I inland, boy that was different for us! But an adventure I’ll always treasure! I miss my friends. So! What brings me back to the coast…well my daughter grew up and moved away…to Bar Harbor, yup, on the coast. She’s currently staying w/ my aunt & uncle.

And I accepted a proposal, from a dear, dear man. Our 3 year anniversary will be in April. Other than my children, I feel that my life finally and truly began. He raised 6 kids, alone. I have 3. Their all grown up and we have the pleasure of keeping in touch. I also have 2 wonderful, loving grandchildren, my hubby has 20 grandchildren and 1 great granchild! BIG! family!

I love life…I have PTSD and a siezure disorder, every day has it’s challanges, but, for the most part, I’m in a good frame of mind. Humor helps! And hubby is a good sport!

I’m an artist (watercolor and pencil), I love music and sing (to Andrea Bocelli, Sara Brightman, Josh Groban…and throw in some Pink Floyd, too!), I love to prepare food! And between my friends and my research on nutrition, I’ve been going through stages of adding another layer to my lifestyle. And , just this past month….I ran into raw food sites, it was time to take that next step. I’m so glad I did! So I’ll be looking for recipes and look forward to gaining insight, and learn more about what I’m made of!

I’ve also inherited a green thumb, from my mother. Mother passed away, right before I got married. Cancer, cut her life too short, at the age of 62. I too have dealt w/ cancer, brain cancer (when I was 2 years old and breast cancer at 34). But you can’t hold me down for long!
