I have avoided gluten for 9 years, so thought my diet was rather ‘clean’ and with very little crap. The last few years have been littered with little ‘illnesses’. My turning point was when I was hit with tonsilitis that lasted 3 weeks and required antibiotic jabs in the butt!!!! ‘Thinking thank god thats over’ I got it back 2 weeks later!In bed again for 10 days I armed myself with my laptop
and began to investigate my diet….Raw was a three month experiment, however that was 8 months and 12 kg ago…I won’t be going back to a cooked diet. Bounds of energy and seems to fit very well with yoga. Another bonus – hello checkbones!!!
So I am happily 90-95% raw in Bangkok, when I move back to a country where I can read the labels on things (and with raw chocolate) 100% is the goal. Until then I’ll enjoy feasting on thai coconuts and fill myself with mangoes.
