my mother forces me to make this frequently. i go through phases sometimes where I NEED citrus fruit…like, i would sell my brother to slavery to get it…and this really hits the spot. maybe that’s why my brother loves this drink also.

Oops, I mean that I used raw honey instead of agave because raw honey helps with coughs...

This sounds delicious and perfect for warding off colds, my mum also forces me to drink something similiar (mothers know best or something like that!)

This was delicious and very refreshing. I made it for my son who had a cold and he drank it all, next morning he said he felt much better and he thinks it was the Citrus Ginger-Ade. No doubt it helped, what with all the medicinal citrus, ginger and cayenne. A Keeper.

I want you to come live with me and be my little boy and make all your wonderful recipes for me to eat. Your mother and brother are lucky people. You are very talented. More, more, more from James the Raw.

Just made it and I really like it.
You might want to try to use a garlic press to get that Ginger juice going. It works super well!

Mmmmmm... just made this but I didn't have oranges or lemons so instead I used 2 tangerines and some key lime juice. It turned a BEAUTIFUL sunset orange color and tasted delicious, even my mum loved it!

Loved it! We didn't have a grapefruit or sparkling water so I used the center of a pineapple and warmed it slightly in the vitamix so it was a luke warm fruit tea sort of drink...just read that it helps a lot with sinus colds...we'll see (used raw honey instead of honey also to help with coughs) :) It was delicious! Thank you for the recipe, will buy grapefruits this week.
