A great and inexpensive tip to stretch your budget when making guacamole.

Recipe Directions

When preparing you favorite guacamole use 2 stalks of celery and 2 tablespoons of olive oil for every avocado you are using. You will not taste it and it really adds to the amount of guacamole you get! With how expensive avocados are, it is a real money saver!

Don't throw that pit away! To keep guacamole fresh longer, push the pit about two-thirds of the way down into the guacamole. Also, if you use only half of an avocado, leave the pit in the unused half and store it in a zip lock bag in the fridge.

Does this make the guacamole last longer? I only prepare for myself and often some ends up going bad.

Awesome idea! I also add sprouted mung beans to mine as a protein stretcher.
