Yield
One small pie, roughly 4 (or fewer!) servings
Ingredients
¼ cup almonds (ground into a flour)
¼ cup oat groats (soaked, dehydrated, and ground to a flour)
1 deglet noor date (mashed to a paste)
5 large strawberries
2 dried apricots (mashed to a paste)
4 deglet noor dates (in paste form)
2 sprinkles of seaweed flakes (I used alaria)
Recipe Directions
1. For the crust, mix almond flour and oat flour by hand with the puree from the single date in a round, convex cereal bowl.
2. In the same bowl, push the crust onto an even layer that comes up about an inch around the side.
3. For the filling, blend the remaining ingredients into a thin paste consistency and pour on top of the crust.
4. Chill in the freezer for a few hours.
