Recipe Directions

Combine all except Nori and Veggies and mix thoroughly. Spread mixture as thinly as possible (about 1/4 inch thick) on Nori Sheets. Lay julienned veggies in the middle (I used carrots, red pepper, yellow squash and green onion) and roll up. Seal with a little water on edge of nori sheets. Slice in bite size rolls. (May serve with braggs) Enjoy!

RawFL's Thoughts

By RawFL

These recipes were inspired because I made a mock tuna and it made way more than 4 servings in my opinion so I was trying to figure different ways to use the leftovers. I am new to raw and am finding most recipes are WAY more than my husband and I can eat in one sitting (sometimes even more than 2 sittings).

The tuna salad is amazing! It tastes like real tuna only better.

geespeen, I forgot - Matt's pasta alfredo sauce I thought was too strong in garlic or maybe my garlic cloves were just too large to use two. Will try again with less garlic.

I recently bought Matts book, and the recipes look great although I have not made any yet.How would you rate the tuna salad, and are there any of his recipes you would reccomend as "must makes"? By the way, your rolls are absolutely beautiful and look fantastic...I love anything "suhi-ish"

geespeen, Must have would be his coconut fudge if you have a sweet tooth. They are absolutely to die for! I am trying the Spirulina Pie next. I also made his mayonnaise recipe to mix with the mock tuna instead of the dressing he has listed with the recipe. Also his Onion Bread.....absolutely delish!

I make similar sushi rolls using pate made from sunflower or pumpkin seeds. After I cut the pieces, I top them with my chutney recipes that are posted on this site. The cilantro and coconut chutney work great. If you like sweet & sour sauce, the tamarind works too.
