Yield
Makes 1 large breakfast smoothie, sure to keep you full until lunch or further!
Ingredients
½ cup fresh or frozen pineapple, chopped
½ cup fresh or frozen mango, chopped
1 banana, pealed
2 leaves dinosaur kale, cleaned
2 leaves curly green kale, cleaned
½ cup cucumber , pealed if not organic
1 handful parley, cleaned w/ stems
1 handful cilantro, cleaned w/ stems
1 tablespoon vanilla
1 tablespoon lemon or lime juice
¾ cup Juice or water, (i used cranberry apple)
1 tablespoon agave or other natural sweatener, not needed but I like it sweet
1 tablespoon spirulina, you can add any supplements you like or none at all
Recipe Directions
Place all ingrediants in Vita Mix or other high powered blender and enjoy. I think it is better if one of the fruits is frozen so it is chilled and does not heat up while blending.
I buy frozen fruit and sometimes my bananas are frozen, but you can add a few ice cubes.
VIBRANCE's Thoughts
By VIBRANCEThis smoothie is delicious. You can vary as you please and don’t worry if you don’t have all of the ingrediants, I usually just throw in whatever is in my fridge, but I find citrus flavoring and agave syrup cut the greens, parsley and cilantro taste.
