This is my favorite raw food recipe in the whole world, and I just had to include it on this site! I changed the original recipe slightly, my inspiration comes from the book ” Raw Food Made Easy For 1 or 2 People.”

Recipe Directions

Either Place all the guacamole ingredients in a small bowl and Mash with a fork, OR place all the guacamole ingredients in a food processor/blender and blend everything together until creamy.

Now, spread the mixture onto a large romaine leaf. Next, cut up a tomato into small slices, and squeeze the juice from each slice into the guacamole. Finally place the tomatoes on top of the guacamole and rap up the sandwich like a burrito/taco or use two leafs to make a sandwich. NOW MUNCH AWAY IN ECSTASY.

it is always so helpful to come across a easy recipie that is soooooo tastey AND easy like this one, for some of us sometimes fall off the raw wagon and things like this make it easy to get back on. thank you for this recipe, and mabey i will be able to stay on the wagon this time.

i love avocados and i love this recipe, but when i'm really in a hurry, i just mush an avocado and add some salt, pepper and finely grated carrot on romaine leaves and it's almost as tasty!

I just made this and I'm eating it now. It is refreshingly delicious. I like the use of lettuce leaves as the outer layer of a sandwich. It makes it a fun food to eat. The first time I saw this done was at a Korean restaurant in NYC.

This recipe is a keeper for me. The bowl and fork method worked fine for me. I used all the ingredients and added chopped parsley to the mix.

A tasty, easy, healthy, and fun sandwich.

Thanks for sharing the recipe, Anthony M.
