I carried these around with me for the entire first year I was raw. If I had a craving, I'd just pop a fudge ball. These are amazingly fudgy--rich enough to satisfy the most passionate chocoholic! Note: These will keep for a long time in the refrigerator.

Recipe Directions

1. In a food processor, blend the dates to a smooth paste.

2. Add the remaining ingredients and process until smooth.

3. Remove from processor and form into round balls.

Well, I'm glad you posted this recipe and I look forward to making it! What a shame to imply bad motives when we are all just trying to encourage one another. Thanks for posting!

I am glad to have this recipe. I will be buying the book, however I can't buy everything at once, and this will keep me going. =) I bought my vitamix this week, agave nectar, almond milk nut bag, spiral slicer and just can't get everything at the same time. THANKS!!!

AYE YAY YAY! And here I thought raw vegans were supposedly less aggressive than hormone-poisoned meat eaters! Can't we all just get along/ I do agree with giving credit where credit is deserved, but why make a point of pointing this out to someone in such a hostile manner/ There are definitely more courteous and kinder ways of informing another fellow raw food friend (which I thought we all were!) of information they may have left out. Yikes!!

Hi, I'm really sorry I wasn't trying to pass this off as my own, I just thought it was a really good recipe and wanted everyone to be able to read it as well. I will be sure to include the sources of all the recipes I post from now on.

So how many other recipes besides Alissa's have you plagiarized? (page 491-92 of her book Living on Live Food). If you're going to copy word for word someone else's published/copyrighted work, you should at least give them credit for it instead of trying to pass it off as your own!
