New to Raw
Can you overdose on potassium?
I know many people go on Banana Island and I've seen YouTube videos of people that eat up to 30 or even 50 bananas a day. The other day I ate 9 bananas throughout the day and a lot of my friends started saying I have to be careful I don't overdose on potassium. But I can't come up with a proper defence to this! I've shown them the videos of the healthy raw vegans eating tons of bananas but they just counter with "everybody's body is different". lol. Does anyone know of a good, thorough response to these non-believer friends of mine to put them in their place? I've tried Googling this but to no avail.
New and Excited
Hey I have been a vegetarian for only about 3 months now, but a friend of mine told me about raw foodism and I started researching it and it looks like a really good Idea. But I need some help. What are some really easy and cheap meals? I figured
I would start most days off with a smoothie and an apple. What are some good lunch and dinner ideas? And I have a budget of about 50 bucks for food each week, any ideas on how to make that last? thanks so much

is it possible to just eat dried fruit raw dried fruit all day with gallon liquid water
is that possible eatting like this a day 1pound mix of apples, bananas, grapes any type about 16oz of, 8 oz of prunes, dates, figs dried fruit, and 1pound of mixed nuts
or would that be too much even tho raw just curious?
new and confused and ....confused
Ok, I've got myself a blander and I have got the will to try
anyways, I am not very good at eating; especially in the warmer time of year so I am not so into food but I try
I did blend a lot of vegetables and had great fun but I don't think I did the right mix because it tasted ok but not really good. And when I look for reciepes I get so overwhelmed I don't know where to start so I just give up. Feeling a bit
hopeless.
I have made myself pasta from squash and that was great.
But how much should I eat? I have no idea because I am not good at the eating and now I guess I will have to eat more. I think I'll make myself some potatoes and mix them with lots of salat, making myself a soft start. But how do I replace those things, like potato, that makes you feel full?
being hungry and not knowing where to start I am sure I ask a lot of silly questions, hope that's ok.
New kid in raw.
Hey, I'm Amy, and I've started thinking recently about changing my diet a bit to include mostly raw foods. My digestive system simply HATES processed foods, and I'm sick of bloating etc!!
I've been vegan for the past 11 months, and I can't wait to take the next step.
Does anyone have any tips/meal plans/etc that would be useful??
Thanks :)
