Crispy Cookie Cereal and Nut Milk

Submitted by amandanicolesmith on February 5, 2012 - 8:06am
Servings:
4-5

My favorite cereal of all time! This cereal is both crispy and soft with a buckwheat, cacao, and vanilla dough that is dehydrated until crispy. Next I add in a cranberry, raisin, flax seed, cookie that is chewy, soft, and super good! Last but not least a nut milk that fuses the flavors together. Whats better then a raw cereal to start your day? For more recipes visit my blog http://amandanicolesmithrecipes.blogspot.com/

Sweetheart Vanilla Macaroons dipped in Dark Chocolate

Submitted by barefootandfrol... on February 10, 2011 - 6:42pm
Sweetheart Vanilla Macaroons dipped in Dark Chocolate
Servings:
Makes approximately 10 medium-sized heart-shaped macaroons. The Dark Chocolate makes enough liquid chocolate to cover one half of each macaroon, along with 5-8 medium-sized strawberries for a garnish.

These Sweetheart Vanilla Macaroons dipped in Dark Chocolate are the perfect raw vegan Valentine’s Day treat. This dessert uses antioxidant-rich superfoods such as raw cacao and lucuma powder, and is quick and easy to prepare. The combination of dark chocolate with the vanilla and caramel undertones of the coconut macaroon cookie base will satisfy anyone’s sweet tooth. Strawberries. Chocolate. Macaroons. Vanilla = a perfect Valentine’s Day!

Meltaway Green Power Buddies

Submitted by noelleloveshoney on February 8, 2011 - 4:15pm
a plate of buddies for a snack-where's my coconut milk?
Servings:
9 cookies

these were, of course, an experiment. in an attempt to get my daughter to eat, i concocted a meltaway protein-packed cookie. as usual, i was fending off little hands so i couldn't write down the exact measurements. i will try to put them in later. since i was in kind of a hury to get them in the dehydratpr, i didn't use dates, but rather agave for the moisture.
enjoy with a glass of coconut milk!

Vanilla Chai Coconut Macaroons

Submitted by barefootandfrol... on January 5, 2011 - 7:05pm
Vanilla Chai Coconut Macaroons
Servings:
12-14 small macaroons

This recipe is by far, my favorite raw macaroon recipe ever; not too chewy, not too sweet, and just the right texture. The combination of coconut with maple syrup and vanilla chai spice will satisfy any sweet tooth, and gives the classic macaroon a sassy raw vegan twist.
