Peppermint Breakfast Cereal
This was such a nice, refreshing morning pick-me-up that I threw together with whatever I had on hand! I'm still new to all these raw recipes, but this easy breakfast has just become one of my favorites! I'm not much for measuring so you'll have to excuse my form of "measurements".
Crunchy Breakfast Banana Mash
This morning I was craving something other than my usual smoothie. A few weeks ago I made buckwheat crispies, and didn't really like them as a plain cereal (I am pretty new to eating raw, so my taste buds are still used to SAD flavours). I wanted something cruncy and cereal like (I also wanted to use some of these buckwheat crispies up)
Oatmeal Ala Wonderful (Cookie or Cereal)
This was originally going to be my fix for a snicker-doodle cookie craving, but when I took a bite of the batter I realized I had never tasted oatmeal this good in all my life!!!! So It can be served as an awesome breakfast cereal or throw it in the dehydrater for cookies or bars!!! A little bit is filling so it can serve quite a few people!! You could also Change out the oats for another soaked or sprouted grain, add osme fruit, whatever makes you smile!!!
Cacao Grawnola Ecstasy
I scoured the web and to my dismay, there was not a chocolate granola recipe to be found. So, I adapted this one from the ingredients list on a Kaia Foods bag of cacao bliss crunchies. Be careful -- this is deliciously dangerous even before it makes it into the dehydrator. My roommate and I had to cut ourselves off before we ate the whole batch straight from the bowl. In the morning, I plan to have this with hazelnut milk, sliced bananas, and raspberries. And then I will need a cold shower. I will try to remember to put up a picture when this is all ready, but really, do you need any more convincing that this recipe will rock your socks?
Nutritious Cereal with Sesame Milk
I got a dehydrator recently so experimented with making this up, its an amazing way to start the day full of nutrition. The Quinoa is a complete protein and the hemp seeds have your omega 3&6s and the sesame milks full of calcium...plus its sooo tasty!
