Thai Kelp Noodle Bowl
A thai-inspired kelp noodle salad made with cilantro, sesame oil, and avocado! Yum! Very refreshing! I have made this several times, varying ingredients and amounts each time. Please feel free to adjust the amounts to your liking...this is my first original raw food recipe ever, and I am pretty impressed with it so far! I plan to add photos of it later. I like to serve in bowls with chopsticks.
Creamy Curry Veggie Soup
I consider this my break-thru raw recipe--It's so yummy I've been eating this once or twice a day for weeks now! I make it in the morning and bring it to work for lunch. The granny smith apple ended up being the secret ingredient for me! Also, I started with ginger (really good too) but once I tried curry I was hooked on that. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. :)
Jalapeno Poppers
Tasty little guys! The spiciness really depends on each individual pepper. Look for jalapenos are cheap and in season - I got a pound for a dollar.
Key Lime Ginseng Ginger Smoothie Caliente
A really deliciously different blend of flavors that are great any time, including the coldest night of the winter on which I first whipped this up. Although the name says lime, it's really the lime-less combo of lemon, orange, avocado, and
ginger which make you swear it's got lime in it.
For those who prefer sweet over spicy, just omit the pepper, and add more sweet. : )
Avocado may sound weird, but it gives the nice thick consistency of the key lime pie in smoothie form.
Enjoy!
Mustard Dressing
If you know how to make your own mustard then you can make this dressing! I don't make my own mustard because I am not 100% raw, so I use an organic mustard.
