Fairy Food
I created this when I was traveling and wanted something to contain all the superfoods I like but was going to be outdoors so smoothies were not possible. These are hard core and will give you a serious jolt. They even made my dad feel like talking to people!! That's cacao doing it's work!!
Italian Flax Crackers
These are some of my favorite crackers of all time. I got the basic recipe from Mary Rydman's book, Raw and Radiant. I found I needed to make it more flavorful than the original, so feel free to go lighter on the garlic, onion etc. I like them with sliced avocado, sliced tomatoes, cucumber, or (my favorite) raw goat cheddar. They're great for taking to work for lunch.
Cheezy Almonds
Warning! These addicting things are my best version of the Living Nutz company’s Vegan Cheezy nutz. At $7.00 for about 25 almonds, I decided to make them myself. These are great for snacking on the trail, at work or while traveling.
