I usually prefer to cut fruit and eat it rather than drink smoothies. This may seem simple enough, but it seems to get overlooked. This makes a delicious breakfast and snack throughout the day. Other desired and seasonal fruit can be added. See my .tropical passion. if you like mango, papaya, mandarins, bananas, pineapple, and coconut.

Just messing around with smoothie recipes. The red flecks in this come from the apple peel (my $20 blender left them in). A better blender might reduce these to a non-visible state, or you could just peel the apple first. Personally, I think they add character.
