fig and apple almond tarts

These fig and almond apple tarts were the result of an abundance of dried figs and some leftover almond pulp from delicious almond mylk. Combined with cinnamon, these made for an interesting snack/breakfast that also could double as an apple crumble:

1 person looking for a quick filling snack

Looking for a quick, sweet, and filling snack?? New to raw and don’t have many tools or skills? Try these easy celery sticks filled with tahini and dates. Can also be made on cucumbers and you can also use nut butter or nut/seed cheese instead of the tahini. Very filling! I’ve even eaten these for a quick lunch.

chocolate banana soy pudding

Servings:
makes about 8 -- 1/2 cup servings

I’m not sure if homemade soy milk is raw or not. I threw this together for my kids this morning because I soaked too many soybeans last night and needed to use the resulting soy milk. I’m honestly not sure why it set into pudding. I was trying to make chocolate milk sweetened with banana instead of stevia. But by the time it was cool enough to give to my 2 yr old, it was the consistency of pudding.
My kids loved this.
