Sweet n Savory Avocado Mango Salsa
There are a few recipes like this one on goneraw, but this is my version.
I’m not too big on spicy food, so I enjoy this salsa because it’s nice and
sweet.
This is my favourite salsa for a late summer afternoon snack with veggies for dipping or you can stuff mushrooms/peppers with it.
Spinach and Sundried Tomato Hemp Pesto
This is my absolute favourite pesto! It is shown in the picture with zucchini noodles, but it’s also great in stuffed mushrooms or red peppers.
Creamy Red Pepper Soup
This is a delicious creamy soup with a little bit of kick.
I’ve been having major cravings for thick creamy soups lately and this was a great recipe to cure my craving. It’s kind of
similar to my irresistable raw soup, but I changed it a bit, added/removed a few things and substituted the avocado in place of the pine nuts.
In the photo I served mine with “popcorn”, ears from one cob of corn, 1 teaspoon olive oil, 3 tablespoons nutritional yeast and half a teaspoon salt.
Simple Strawberry Sorbet
This is a very tasty, refreshing desert and it’s so easy. You can really substitute any fruit you like, I just had strawberries on hand and they seemed to work very well.
Luscious Chocolate Milk
I have been looking for nut free options for all kinds of dishes lately. Nut milks are a staple in my diet, so I created this seed/grain based milk as an alternative. This a really easy, super filling and very satisfying recipe. A good breakfast or dessert when you’re craving something sweet. If you don’t eat seeds, I assume this would be fine without the hemp. Also, if you don’t want to indulge in your cacao craving, enjoy it without.
