This savory smoothie or soup is VERY warming and REALLY high in antioxidant and anti-inflammatory power! Plus, it boasts a lot of taste complexity and it was quick and easy to make. I didn't take a picture because - guess what? It looks like a green smoothie!
I invented this today because I do not have great luch with the savory green smoothie. I have made a couple that I have dumped out, which make me feel wasteful and hungry. The olives and hot sauce are not raw, but I'm not going to sweat it.
Like liquid sunshine :). This is my favourite, easiest green smoothie , but inot one I have seen posted.
The taste is always good but with best ingredients it's brilliant. We make it every morning in my house and I am so addicted that, about six months ago, on holidays in Albany in South Western Australia Iasked Trish at the local gourmet cafe - Bay Merchants - if she could make one for me. She surpassed herself, tasted it - and a few months later, when I returned, it was on the menu.
So credit for the name goes to her, as well as credit for offering a genuine green smoothie to the local 'foodies'.
This is a rich and creamy smoothie. Enjoy! Note that we recommend that you avoid commercially frozen mango as it is often blanched before freezing to increase shelf-life. Blanching destroys many of the mango's valuable nutrients! www.RawFusionStore.com
A fresh yummy treat that tastes pretty close to the real thing :o)
