Kids Recipes
I love my Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoons in the morning, along with a big pink drink.
Adapted from a recipe by Alissa Cohen. I found it on Raw Food Talk, but I believe it is also in her book – Living on Live Food.
“Served warm out of the dehydrator, these are heavenly! These taste like a soft, breaded, cooked, stuffed mushroom.”
I make this recipe when I am craving a crispy snack. It made it easy to move away from potato chips when I was going raw too!
This is pretty close to commercial yogurt in texture and tartness. I like to mix in some berries pureed with a little agave nectar, and sprinkle a little granola on top.
Wow sis these turn out good. Your kids are gonna love these… yes you will too :) I have heard about some worries about stevia, and you know what there should be none. It is a good, safe, calorie free sweetner.
Courtesy of kidshealth.org although a great snack or side dish for adults as well.
Reminicent of an Almond Joy, these truffles are a great pick-me-up and they take only 15 min to make! Kids love to make (and eat) these too! They are great to pack in a lunch or for travelling.
My girlies love to drink this “Princess Pink” smoothie while watching their Disney Princess movies.
A mild tasting veggie nugget for kids to snack on (finally, something my kids love!). I imagine you could make these in advance and freeze them (then thaw and warm in dehydrator).
Serve with my remoulade sauce for a more adventurous taste…see recipe in my profile.
This could help kids eliminate harmful dairy products from their diets. It also a good source of healthy unsaturated fat.
Do you remember what what chocolate milk tastes like? Well I don’t but this is good!! Chocolate milk loving kids come and get it! Sorry I would have posted a picture but I chugged mine too fast.
Ever want a cool smoothie but would like a suprise taste explosion at the end? Try this! =)
